Project: Design and production of a textbook about the Tao Te Ching.

Although there were no illustrations, the design was complicated by the fact that the text was broken up by lots of subheads, subsections, quotations, and footnotes. I chose classic typefaces that I felt would promote the spiritual nature of the text, and then tried to lighten things up a little with an off-center type treatment on the cover and small illustrations for the chapter-opener pages.
